Method
- 01
Create it in the desktop app
Choose New chat, then Create new Team Bot. It asks what the team needs and walks through plugins, secrets, skills, and files. Until you publish, only you can see it.
- 02
Add what the whole team should have
Plugins, secrets, skills, and files on the bot are available in every teammate's conversation. A secret is access you are giving the team. Use a scoped, read-only key. The bot can hold up to 25 secrets. Teammates see a secret's name and description, not its value.
- 03
Publish to the team
Choose Publish to team. Teammates find it under New chat, then Team Bots, and each person gets a private chat. You cannot read their chats, and they cannot read yours.
- 04
Share the link, and Slack if you want it there
Copy link sends someone straight to the bot. Slack is optional: publish first, connect Slack as the owner, then choose Bring to your team's Slack. It posts as itself. In the app or in Slack, usage counts against the person who is talking to it.

Limits
Team Bots are for members of a team, and you create them in the desktop app. If your account cannot use them, a Team Bot link says Team Bots Not Available. For an assistant that should use your own accounts and your own memory, keep a personal bot.
