Keep your sidebar tidy

Hide bots you rarely open so the list along the side of the window stays easy to scan. That list is the sidebar. Hide from sidebar clears clutter; it is not the same as deleting the bot.

    Credit the tip

@SuddenlyJon shared a sidebar cleanup trick (linked below): select several bots you almost never open, then hide them together with Hide from sidebar. The changelog notes that bulk selection hides every chosen bot at once.

    Hide, do not delete

Hide from sidebar drops a bot from the everyday list but keeps its chats and setup. Pin lifts a busy bot to the top. Prefer hiding over delete when you might return to the work.

Find it again under Hidden Bots

Scroll to the Hidden Bots section at the foot of the sidebar—it can collapse. Use Show in sidebar on the bot menu to restore it. On phones, pick Unhide from the hidden list, or Show Hidden Bots if everything is tucked away.

Know what hiding does not do

A hidden bot can still run scheduled jobs. Pause a routine under View conversation details, then Routines, if you need the work to stop.

Questions

Does hiding delete the chat?
No. Hide from sidebar takes the bot off the main list and keeps the work. Deleting removes the active profile, conversation, and routines.
Will a hidden bot still run a routine?
Yes. Hiding only changes the sidebar list. Timers and routines keep their schedule until you pause them.
Can I hide more than one?
Yes. Select several bots, then hide them in one step. @SuddenlyJon's post walks through that flow.
