Start from a ready-made template

A template is a link that adds a copy of someone else's bot to your account. The copy includes the setup they shared, not their logins or old chats. You can start from this site's catalog, or from a link a person sent you.

    Browse bots on this site

The bot catalog lists templates you can import, with the job text we have for each one. Categories group those listings, such as getting started or email and calendar.

    Read the preview

A public link opens a preview with the bot's name, job text, saved methods, and any scheduled jobs. Shared listings come from other people; xAI does not vet them.

    Add your own copy

From the preview, pick Add to Grok Bot. In Marketplace, open a listing and import a copy with Import bot. You need the desktop or phone app to finish. Marketplace lives in the sidebar list.

    Start with one task

The copy is yours. Connect your own accounts if the job needs them. Send one concrete task, and keep sending or paying behind a stop for your yes.

Questions

Does import include the other person's Gmail?
No. You get a fresh copy of the setup on your account. Their machine, passwords, and old chats stay theirs.
What is Marketplace?
Marketplace in the sidebar lists bots to import. Open a listing and use Import bot to make your own copy.
Is a Team Bot the same as a template?
No. A template gives each person a separate copy. A Team Bot is one bot a whole team talks to.
