How to get Grok Bot

You get Grok Bot with an eligible plan, then you install the app and sign in. The get-started page lists those plans and does not list a dollar price. That page also says you can set it up on a phone.

  1. 01

    Check the plan

You need an eligible Cursor or SuperGrok plan, as the get-started page lists: paid personal Cursor, Cursor Teams, or a linked SuperGrok tier (Plus or Heavy count too). That page names the plans and does not quote a price.

  2. 02

    Leave Legacy Privacy Mode

Legacy Privacy Mode is an older Cursor privacy setting. If your account still uses it, switch to a Cursor data mode Grok Bot supports before you try to open the app.

    Install the desktop app

Open the downloads page linked from get started, and pick the build for Mac, Windows, or Linux. The same page walks through install clicks for each platform. Grok Bot also checks for updates on its own.

Log in from the welcome screen

On first launch, tap Sign in and finish authentication in the browser, then return to the app. When SuperGrok is your plan source, link it when prompted. On a computer, Settings, then Usage & Billing, offers the link for your SuperGrok tier.

    Or use a phone

You are not limited to a laptop: the get-started guide covers phone setup as well. The mobile help page shows how to share a photo or link straight into a bot chat.
